   Visitor Liaison Officer

Employees deliver site briefings, information, activities and events to customers, conduct research and share information on Australian indigenous culture and undertake sales duties in a museum environment.

Qualification Information

COMMON CORE UNITS (4 required)
  • Develop and apply knowledge of the museum industry
  • Work with others
  • Follow health, safety and security procedures
  • Observe and report on basic condition of collection
ELECTIVE UNITS (6 required)
  • Provide a site briefing or scripted commentary
  • Deliver information, activities and events
  • Provide quality service to customers
  • Research and share general information on Australian indigenous culture
  • Sell products and services
  • Apply point of sale handling procedures
